IT PhD in Information Techonologies
Welcome! To the Posgraduate & Research PhD in IT program at the CUCEA Campus University of Guadalajara, also supported by the Information System Department. We are conformed of young and enthusiastic people where both staff and students all put a great deal of effort into making this department one of the best in Mexico. Our envisioned step is to offer and support a PhD program of world class and the collaboration with other institutions.
The University of Guadalajara (UdG) is the second university in Mexico with excellent facilities, with 92,451 students and 1,507 researchers in all the disciplines. UdG is located in Guadalajara, the so called Silicon Valley of Mexico. Information Technologies (IT) by it's definition deals with the use of computers and software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and retrieve information. This PhD program aims to support the related research areas featuring specialization in Simulation, Distributed Information Systems and E-World technologies.
The UdG PhD in Information Technologies is an strategical and unique Mexican program to reinforce the research activities in CS between the University and the Industry within an international context.
